according to her mommy, said toddler must really like us, because normally she doesnt warm up to guys as fast as she did to nick, and also because instead of being totally ready to leave when mommy got back, she wanted to stay.

toddler approved activities include: playing with fridge magnets, feeding the fishies, watching the fishies play, watching Shrek and Finding Nemo, and eating raisins. she also, for a brief second, discovered the water cooler. she got wet. she's a lot of fun because you can actually communicate with her, tell her what you want her to do, explain why she can't do that thing she's doing, and she can tell you what she wants. T says it's obviously time i had one.

this week at work, only the temps and Crunchy are there. that's right, three people, doing the work of six. what's really scaring me, though, is that Crunchy is actually being useful. i dont know what happened. it's not going too bad, though. we're keeping up fairly well. more than ever, we now realize that it's the part timers that actually keep the lab running, and everyone else does the special projects, reports, and requests. not too bad, but i did spend about two hours pouring plates today. four liters, 160 plates. they'll be gone in about a week.

nick is off to PA on saturday, and will be gone for a week. this makes me a sad panda. i havent gotten nearly enough snuggles while he prepares for this trip. lets hope he comes home extra cuddly.

i think i'm going to take a shower and go to bed now. night night.
